Hosted by FEMA Region X. This workshop will include modules from the L0284 Advanced
Floodplain Management Concepts III course with a specific focus on Substantial Improvement/
Substantial Damage (SI/SD), Noncompliance issues, and floodway standards.

Tuition is free for those accepted; there are no travel/salary stipends available for this offering
and all incurred costs are the responsibility of the attendee or sending organization.

Prerequisites:
Recommended prerequisites include L0273, Managing Floodplain Development through the
National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
